OUR BELIEFS:

About the Bible:
The Bible is the inspired, inerrant, infallible word of God. It is our supreme source of truth. (2 Peter 1:20-21, 2 Timothy 1:13, 3:16, Psalm 119:105, Psalm 12:6, Proverbs 30:5)

About God:
God is the creator and ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three personalities; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1, Genesis 1:26-27, Genesis 3:22, Psalm 90:2, Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14, 1 Peter 1:2)

About Jesus Christ:
Jesus is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a perfect life and died on a cross as a sacrifice for our sin and rose from the dead to be our Lord. He sits at the right hand of God and will return some day. (Isaiah 9:6, Matthew 1:22-23, John 1:1-5, John 14:10-30, Acts 1:9-11, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, Romans 1:3-4, Hebrews 4:14-15, 10:10-14, 1 Timothy 6:14-15, Titus 2:13)

About the Holy Spirit:
The Spirit is equal with the Father and Son. The Holy Spirit makes men aware of their need for Christ. He guides the believer and gives him power for living. (2 Corinthians 3:17, John 16:7-13, John 14:16-17, Acts 1:8, 1 Corinthians 2:12, 3:16, Ephesians 1:13, 5:18, Galatians 5:25)

About Man:
Man is made in God’s image, but has been marred by sin, which separates him from God. (Genesis 1:27, Psalm 8:3-6, Isaiah 53:6a, Romans 3:23, Isaiah 59:1-2)

About Salvation:
Salvation is a gift to man from God. It is a free gift; it cannot be earned. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Christ by faith. (Romans 6:23, Ephesians 2:8-9, John 1:12-13, 14:6, Titus 3:5, Galatians 3:26, Romans 5:1)

About Eternity:
Man was created to exist forever. He will either exist in Heaven with God or separated from God in a place called Hell. (John 3:16, 1 John 2:25, 5:11-13, Romans 6:23, Revelation 20:15)

About Eternal Security:
Because God gives man eternal life through Jesus Christ, the believer is secure in that salvation for eternity. (John 10:28-29, 2 Timothy 1:12, Hebrews 7:25, 10:10-14, 1 Peter 1:3-5, John 5:24)

About Baptism:
Baptism is an outward sign of an inward change. Biblical baptism takes place after conversion, by immersion, as an act of obedience. (Matthew 3:13-17, 28:19-20, Acts 16:16-34, 2:38-41)

About the Christian Experience:
The Christian life should be a life of holiness. Such a life cannot be lived out through a person’s own efforts, but rather as a by-product of the Holy Spirit’s presence. (1 Thessalonians 4:3-7, 1 Peter 1:15-16, Galatians 3:3, Romans 6:22)
